INDESTRUCTIBLE & OTHER POEMS
This is my second poetry collection. It describes life multicolored as it is, sometimes bitter, sometimes sweet. It's about people, places, hate, love, justice, nature, etc. The most of all, it's about freedom and courage. It encourages you, no matter how hard the life is, to stay indestructible.
THE POEMS CHOOSE ME
November 2014
This is a collection of 100 selected poems. The book is edited by American writer Fred Robel. Iva Mandić designed the e-book cover. The poems cover many topics like: greed, art, love, wealth, poverty, fear, courage, etc. Author hopes to encourage you to cast off your shackles and embrace your freedom.
SOME OF MY POEMS
The Poems Choose Me
The poems
choose me
In the nightmares
they jump from
the dark wood
In the daymares
From a tear
they slip down
and fall out
from the smile
explode from
furious chest
bleed from
passionate heart
I look for them
Skillfully they hide
I hide from them
They hit me hard
with the burning bat
Do, Follow Your Dream
Do, follow your dream
but you should know
Witches, monsters and demons
will always be very close
Barbed wires and sharpened rocks
will somehow on your path show
Those bandit's hate on your cheek
even the one grain of glow
Following dreams is willingly
tripping, rolling and falling
It sounds silly, I know
Nevertheless, I repeat
Do, follow your dream

Indestructible
Earlier my body
was machine
indestructible
with programs
for flying
for jumping
for fighting
Now my
machine parts
are rusty
and my programs
inoperative
My soul is
not machine
but it’s still
indestructible
It knows
how to fly
how to jump
how to fight
Dust on the Photo
Dust on my photo
You don't clean it any more
For my little face
you don't care any more
Once you used to carry it
in the brown wallet
You were glad to show it
to a friend and to a passer-by
I still carry yours
It's time to throw it out
There is no point as a fool
in the past my time to lose
"Not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves"
Henry David Thoreau
